Nudity as a bond between human beings and nature

Throughout all the compositions, two main elements of study prevail: nature and the human figure. Through them, the work seeks to reflect on their relationship.

In the different photographs taken, the composition can be appreciated as a scene in which the human figure appears stripped of clothing, in a complete and pure state, deeply connected with the natural environment that surrounds it.

“As we evolved as a species, we have dissociated ourselves to the point of having the illusion of being privileged, of believing that there is a special creation for us, that there was a special destiny and a future after death that was special in relation to all others.”

Indeed, Morin says, we have become “gypsies of the universe”; that is, a small minority, since we know of no other living beings outside our planet, and certainly no other human beings. If they exist, they are undoubtedly very unusual.

“We are lost in this strange universe,” and it is evident that suns are too hot to live on, that space is too cold, and that our only habitat is this small planet. That said, it is at once a physical and biological planet, and the place where we are at home.

“We must always think about our fundamental relationship with physical and biological Nature, as well as our distance from this Nature.”
